About
I'm writing a PhD thesis on the role of English antiquarian societies (primarily from the late 18th and 19th centuries) upon the reception history of Byrd's Catholic music and upon the influence on the formation of religious and political identity in post-Reformation Britain. I am a part-time distance PhD student at the Open University. I have degrees in music and musicology from Nyack College, Oxford University and Rutgers University. I am also a Lecturer in Music at Princeton University and an adjunct instructor in music at William Paterson University in New Jersey. I have myriad interests within academia and as an autodidact, but I am mainly focused on music and politics in the English Reformation, reception history of music in 19th-20thC Britain, and disability studies.
